I’ve found a bit more…

Old stuff

Once upon a time, I had a website.  It fell down the back of the couch about 6 years ago and I couldn’t find it.  It turned up again just before I moved to Melbourne.  Below are all the best bits that used to be there.  It’s all a bit old now, but everything I’ve done since is still in storage at my Dad’s workshop in Perth, waiting for me to call for it once I have a home of my own here.  So there you go.

Hello, I’m Anton McKay.  I’ve recently moved from Perth, Western Australia to Melbourne, in Victoria.  I am an illustrator.

My Most Beloved suggested I start a blog in which I might post examples of my artwork.  I could begin with old illustrations, and then add new material as I make it, reflecting my new life in Melbourne as it unfolds.

I’m excited to be living in this wonderful and inspiring city.  While I am here, I intend to leave aside old self-doubts and frustrations as best I can and make this time the most positive and creative of my life so far.

Making positive declarations about myself doesn’t come naturally or comfortably, but I think I gave it a pretty good shake there, don’t you think?  Anyway – foot forward…
